Appraise & Maintenance
A company's e-business strategy is constantly evolving and should always be aligned with the company's corporate strategy. As such, an install and forget mentality as regards e-business is not advised. There are two categories of maintenance. One is for ad hoc changes such as content, layout and minor tweaks to functionality. The other is a major overhaul of the functionality. In the case of the former, the extension will be build into the system based upon the analysis done in the first phase. It is suggested that for a major overhaul, that the steps taken in the implementation be observed as closely as possible to achieve the desired results.
